1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BankstatementToTable ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BankstatementToTable is an online platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to convert PDF bank statements and images into structured Excel (XLSX) and CSV formats.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To access Pro features, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to:

• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes. You must:

• Only upload bank statements that you own or have legal authorization to process
• Not use the Service for any illegal activities
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise the Service

Prohibited Activities

You may not use our Service for:

• Money laundering or financial fraud
• Tax evasion or document falsification
• Processing documents obtained illegally
• Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Sharing account credentials with others
• Automated or bulk access without our permission

5. User Content

Ownership

You retain full ownership of all bank statements and documents you upload, as well as all converted files you download. We claim no ownership rights over your content.

License to Process

By uploading documents, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the conversion service. This license terminates immediately when your files are deleted after processing.

6. Payment Terms

Free Tier

You may convert one document for free without creating an account.

Pro Access

• One-time payment of $10 (or €10 in Europe)
• Includes 25 document conversions
• Unlimited pages per document
• No subscription or recurring charges

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

7. Refund Policy

To request a refund, please email us at info@bankstatementtotable.com with your account email and reason for the refund.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by BankstatementToTable and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy of OCR extraction results
• Warranties that defects will be corrected
• Warranties that the converted data is suitable for any financial, tax, legal, or accounting purposes
• Warranties that the Service will meet your specific requirements

You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk and are solely responsible for verifying all converted data. We make no guarantees about data accuracy, completeness, or reliability.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BANKSTATEMENTTOTABLE, ITS OWNER, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
• Any damages resulting from errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in OCR extraction or data conversion
• Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
• Any damages resulting from financial decisions made based on converted data
• Any damages resulting from reliance on the accuracy of any output from the Service
• Any damages related to tax filings, accounting, or financial reporting based on Service output
• Any data loss or corruption during processing
• Any service interruptions, delays, or failures

No Liability for Data Accuracy

We expressly disclaim any and all liability for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of converted data. You are solely responsible for verifying all data before use. We shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from errors in the converted data, regardless of whether such errors result from OCR limitations, document quality, or any other cause.

Maximum Liability Cap

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE EXCEED THE LESSER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) TEN EUROS (€10).

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BankstatementToTable and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you upload to the Service

12. Termination

By Us

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.

By You

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that should reasonably survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Vienna, Austria. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring claims in the courts of your country of residence.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
